Dear Judi:
Hillier resigns – NATO corrupts – Lansdowne leaks – Taliban escape
Hawks CAFE believes Canadian Forces Chief of Land Staff, Lt. General Rick Hillier resigned in disgust at the corruption in the NATO chain of command and leakage of intelligence from Lansdowne Technologies war rooms; a leakage which recently (Friday 13th of June) resulted in the escape of 400 Taliban militants from a Kandahar prison.
"Lt. General Rick Hillier  resigning .. Canadian veteran ..  returned from Afghanistan ..  spoke from the heart, so highly of the General .. Canadian Army .. biography:  Lieutenant-General R.J. Hillier, CMM, CD Chief of the Land Staff .. has had privilege and pleasure of commanding troops from the platoon to division level ..  staff officer at Army headquarters, first in Montreal and now at National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa ..  served throughout Canada, twice in Europe and the United States .. enough time with the United Nations and NATO forces in the former Yugoslavia to be eligible to vote there. In 1998 LGen Hillier was appointed as the Canadian Deputy Commanding General of III Armoured CorpsUS Army in Fort HoodTexas. In 2000 he took command of the Multinational Division (Southwest) in Bosnia-Herzegovina. After returning to Canada, he assumed the duties of Assistant Chief of the Land Staff, and on May 30, 2003, assumed the duties of Chief of the Land Staff.  In October 2003 LGen Hillier was selected as the next commander of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in KabulAfghanistan. He commanded ISAF from February 9 to August 12, 2004."http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/267

"Chayes's input .. vital source of intelligence .. She supports a continued NATO presence in Kandahar but is highly critical of the political strategy and combat tactics of the coalition forces. 'I was very happy to see NATO come (to Kandahar) but disappointed that NATO hasn't altered their policy of using corrupt Afghan officials,' she said. '..  blank cheque to the local government authorities and you simply can't do that. Fighting corruption is a daily process. You can't just remove a few officials and consider the task complete.' According to Chayes, NATO's killing of insurgents is negated by the unchecked corruption of the local government, which is causing an even greater number of volunteers to take up arms and join the resistance. She said the solution is for NATO to take firm control of the Afghan administration it is fighting to prop up. 'These corrupt Afghan officials will respond to foreign pressure because they know they are in power thanks to NATO,' Chayes said. 'If NATO wasn't here, the Karzai regime wouldn't last five days, or five minutes, because the people are so upset.' Apparently, the local citizenry reacted with glee to former foreign affairs minister Maxime Bernier's comments about the Kandahar governor being corrupt and in need of replacement [Hence biker-moll sting]" .... "The curtain came down yesterday on the brief and embattled cabinet career of Canada's Foreign Minister after a scandal involving his relationship with a woman who was once linked to criminal biker gangs .. Mr Bernier  forced to walk the plank just before Ms Couillard revealed on television she had discovered secret Nato documents in her apartment after one of the minister's visits. Within 24 hours of the classified documents being returned, Mr Bernier was out of a job. Ms Couillard spiced up the grey world of Canadian politics last August when she wore a jaw-dropping dress at her boyfriend's swearing in ceremony .. In office, Mr Bernier seemed to attract controversy. In April, Mr Bernier had to retract comments calling for the removal of Kandahar's governor Asadullah Khalid, and recently he promised to deliver aid to Burma on a Canadian cargo plane that was unavailable. Mr. Bernier also managed to get the name of the Haitian President wrong inCanada's House of Commons."http://thechronicleherald.ca/Opinion/1062255.html

"I believe the Center used virtual war-room software from Groove (Beverly, Mass.), Tomoye-Martec (Gatineau, Quebec) and Lansdowne-Parisien (Ottawa, Canada) to coordinate leaders, insiders, lurkers, saboteurs and blast technicians during bogus 9/11 war games and then spoliate the evidence of murder" .. "Pandemic Vaccine In Hands Of Depopulation Advocates By Judi McLeod & David Hawkins .. Canada Free Press.com October 6, 2005 If you or any of your loved ones contracted H5N1 Avian Flu, would you trust a vaccine from self-avowed depopulationist Maurice Strong, or his protégé Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin?  Through his blind trust Canada Steamship Lines, subsidiary, Lansdowne Technologies Inc., Prime Minister Paul Martin is now in the vaccine development business. In fact, he's been there since June 2003 when he was Canada's Minister of Finance under Prime Minister Jean Chrétien."  .. "Project Management lies at the heart of Lansdowne.  "(CNN) -- Afghan security forces on Saturday worked to hunt down the nearly 400 Taliban militants who escaped from a Kandahar prison in what police called a daring and well-executed jailbreak the day before [Friday 13th!!] … Analysts -- note that this was the latest of three commando-style attacks in the country in recent months. The attacks reflect the sophistication of the militants and efforts to win the hearts and minds of the Afghan citizenry. The other attacks are the attempted assassination of Karzai at a military ceremony in April and the strike on the five-star Serena Hotel in Kabul. Both are suspected as al Qaeda jobs as well. The al Qaeda terror network attacked the United States September 11, 2001, during the Taliban's rule over Afghanistan .. In Friday's incident, the militants used suicide truck bombs loaded with about two tons of explosives to blast holes in the mud brick walls of the Soviet-era prison, a Taliban spokesman said. A gun and rocket battle between the militants and prison guards lasted several hours and ended with dozens of militants rushing inside on motorcycles to free all prisoners inside, the Taliban spokesman said. Nine guards, seven prisoners and one civilian were killed in the attack, according to Ahmad Wal Karzai. Several Taliban prisoners had recently started a hunger strike. Checkpoints were set up around the prison in an attempt to catch the escapees, one police officer said. Authorities had also requested assistance, such as a helicopter, from nearby Canadian forces fromNATO's International Security Assistance Forces. 'We asked for NATO assistance and Canadian helicopters did arrive at the scene but they were late and we could not do anything,' said an Afghan security official."http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/06/14/afghanistan.taliban/

Perhaps we could pool some past and present research to expose NATO corruption, including the recent successful `biker-moll' sting on the outspoken Maxine Bernier, and try to save some lives of Canadian troops and local citizens in Afghanistan.http://www.usdoj.gr/ch32a.html http://www.hawkscafe.com/107.html
